Car:  2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8

Our 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 project began life as an already formidable naturally aspirated 425 horse power 6.1L Hemi.  With the addition of a Paxton centrifugal supercharger kit from GS Motorsports this SRT-8 has really come alive.  In its factory configuration; the 6.1L’s dyno results yield 366 wheel horsepower.  After the supercharger install, the SRT-8 produced a conservative 487 wheel horsepower with 6.5psi of boost.  With further dyno tuning the SRT-8 is expected to push beyond the 500 wheel horsepower range without breaking a sweat.  The future of this build will include exhaust work to further enhance the 6.1L’s breathing.  The extra 110 plus ponies help to get this heavy sedan tearing down the road.
